"Perfect City Hotel"
Stayed at the Best Western Ashling during November 2006. Very good value. Arrived early so was able to leave luggage at hotel until able to check in. Outside appearence of the hotel does not do the inside justice very pleasent and welcoming. The hotel is in a perfect location with both Heusten Station and the tram and bus stop just over the road only a few minutes ride into the centre. The hotel is in walking distance from Dublin Zoo, well worth a visit excellent value from money. Highlight of the trip was Kilmainham Gaol prison probably the best attraction in dublin. Located about 15 minutes walk from the Ashling but definitely not to be missed. Overall, very pleased with hotel had everything we needed will definitely recommend.

"Good value for money"
I have just returned from a 3 night break at the Best Western Ashling Hotel. got a great deal from the internet with one night free including breakfast, which was really nice.
Some of the reviews didn't put me off as a friend stayed there in October last year. The staff were friendly, and I can honestly say the rooms and hotel were clean. Yes it’s a good 20-minute walk to centre of town but buses run regularly and at least you can get good nights sleep.
Who needs Temple Bar, at least you don't get ripped off up at this end of the town and the pubs were brilliant, especially if there is a (lock in). A visit to Nancy Hands pub is well worth a visit, and the staff in the millennium pub were absolutely fantastic. Thanks chaps for a brilliant holiday. If I was visiting Dublin again I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again. |

"Comfortable Dublin Hotel"
Stayed for 2 nights at the Ashling in Dublin due to its loaction on the LUAS Tram. Ideal as it is not in the Noisy Centre and only a short ride away from all the Night Life of the Temple Bar area.
I got a lovely comfortable double bed room and was quite impressed with the bathroom, quite big for what I was expecting. Overall had a lovey stay, very quite and deffinately very nice helpfull staff. Would recommend and will return again. Car parking is a deffinate benefit and lots of spaces, nearly 1 for everyone.....
