This hotel is located in leafy Castleknock with restaurants, bars and shopping facilities only a 15-minute walk away. It is only 20 minutes to the renowned Phoenix Park, as well as to the National Aquatic Centre and Dublin Zoo. The Guinness brewery is 35 minutes from the hotel and the city centre may be reached on foot in 40 minutes. The airport is 12 km away.

This hotel was conceived for families, business travellers and short break guests seeking value for money. It comprises a total of 97 rooms. The property offers guests a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a restaurant and parking for around 100 cars.There is space for 100 cars in the free car park. Vans and mini buses may also be parked there.Arriving by car, take the M50 and leave it at the roundabout, continuing on the Navan Road N3. Turn off at junction 6 in the direction of the city - the centre is only 6.5 km away.

"Excellent stay!"
We booked this hotel because it was so cheap - only 40 euros for the room per night. This was an internet deal as their tariff states 89 euros per person! Although we arrived 2 hours before check-in time, we were allocated a room straight away. The receptionist was extremely friendly and pleasant. Our room was very spacious and clean with a large bathroom and was fairly quiet. Being a Travelodge, you kind of know what you are getting and the standard of the rooms and their cleanliness was very high. Breakfast is not provided but there is a diner in the grounds which used to be a Little Chef. This was quite reasonable and had nice staff. The easiest way into town is by bus - takes about 20 minutes from the bus stop just outside the hotel. Coming back, make sure you don't just take a bus to Castleknock as this hotel is right on its outskirts. Ask at reception for the best bus to catch! The best thing about this hotel is the extremely pleasant staff. They really couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and made our stay in this excellent city even more memorable.
