"Clean hotel with wonderful staff!"
Just stayed at this hotel with six other family members. Excellent location close to Temple Bar area. Hotel is very clean. We had a 3 am wakeup call to catch a flight, and the hotel opened their restaurant and we had a private breakfast with toast, coffee/tea, juice, yogurts, and cereal. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and even phoned the Hard Rock and made a reservation for me. I just asked if it was close by! They also arranged transportation to the airport and it was quick and reasonably priced. I would stay here again in a minute!

"Thumbs Up!"
Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Trinity Capital Hotel for three nights, a wed, thurs and fri. We arrived at the hotel at about 10.30am and were given the key to our room straight away. We stayed in one of the standard courtyard rooms on the first floor. Our first impressions of the room were excellent. The room was of average size, nice modern decor and very clean, there were plenty of towels for the two of us in the bathroom and quite a generous sized shower. The double bed was also extremely comfy! There were also the much appreciated facilities, a plasma tv, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
The Hotel is right next to the fire station however we never heard one siren, the only thing we heard was very occasional bumps and bangs, these didnt really disturb us at all, infact the only thing that disturbed us on our second night was another guest who arrived back at 3am, sadly a person with a very loud voice! We put up with hearing every word of her conversation for about half an hour but a quick call to reception sorted it out and we didnt hear a peep after that!
The whole hotel had a nice ambience. I really liked how it as decorated, shades of purple, really huge ornate mirrors, oversized chairs, mosaic tiles, candles on the tables and big lampshades.
Another great thing about this hotel is the location, its literally less than a 5 minute walk from Grafton Street(shopping) and Temple Bar(pubs and restaurants) very convenience for the drunken stumble back at night. O'Connell Street is also very close. Just make sure you use the pedestrian crossings. Either that or get run down by a bus or a taxi, they dont stop for anything except traffic lights! There is also a newsagents/offlicence just round the corner for any bits and bobs you may need.
We loved Dublin, and we would stay at this hotel again. It was our first visit and it wont be our last!

"Trinity Capital Hotel, Dublin, Republic of Ireland"
An excellent hotel that was only about five minutes walk to Temple Bar and even less to Grafton Street. Room was well decorated and clean. We had room service one night and the meal was excellent, the prices were very reasonable considering it was room service. We were at the back of the hotel but had no noise from the adjacent fire station. Staff in the hotel were very professional and friendly. Would certainly stay there again.
Recommended is a train/bus journey to Avoca which is very lovely - if the weather is good. Temple Bar seems a bit over rated, restaurants were quite expensive but service was always friendly. Would probably get a better pint of Guinness if you stayed away from the obvious spots.

"Excellent Staff"
Traveled to Dublin, Ireland and stayed at Trinity Capital for five nights. The hotel was clean and safe and the staff were exceptional (especially since they knew I was a young female traveling alone) The location was great - you can be at the shops on Grafton Street or Temple Bar area in a less than five minute walk.
Make sure you go to the Meter Station on Tara Street and see the owner, John, he'll make you a great cup of coffee, which is hard to find in Ireland.
Cheers and thanks to all for a wonderful, wonderful time. Can't wait to go back next year!

"Great value and location"
Stayed at the Trinity Capital for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful. The hotel itself is in a great location 5 minute walk from Trinity college and Temple Bar. Caught hop on off tour right around the corner. The hotel has a bar in it so you can relax prior to heading out for the evening. Several restaraunts and pubs in the area. Had not problems from the fire and police station next door. Hardly knew they were there. I would definitly stay at this hotel again.

"Great place to stay"
Wonderul experience here and I'd go back in a second. Location is an easy walk to Trinity Bar area, O'Connell street, St. Stephen's green, etc. Rooms are updated with contemporary decorations, very clean, and have good plumbing. If your room faces the street, there is some road noise, but not much people noise like hotels in the Trinity Bar area. The breakfast was very well done and staff was friendly and helpful. I came home late and was impressed with their security as well.
Other friends were staying at hotels that were cramped, had no hot water, and were very noisy so this was the best choice in a place to stay that I saw during my trip.
